SHUT-OFF PIG VALVE
Tulsa Pig Valve
The Tulsa Shut-Off Pig Valve is a trunnion mounted ball valve that launches and receives pigs without a separate launcher and trap system. Combining shut-off and pigging access in one valve cuts footprint, equipment, and manpower, with estimated savings of 25 to 60 percent.
A forged A350-LF2 body with a bolted two or three piece design gives field repairability, while 17-4 PH stainless ball, seats, and pig catcher resist chemicals, abrasion, and corrosion. The fire-safe design, positive isolation, and double block and bleed capability deliver dependable shut-off, and the baffle plate position sets the valve as a launcher, receiver, or bidirectional launcher.
Available in sizes 2″ through 24″ and ASME Class 150 through 1500, the valve conforms to API 6D, ASME B16.34, MSS-SP-61, and NACE, and is 100 percent pressure tested to API 6D and API 598. RF ends are standard with RTJ on request, and lever operation runs to 6″ with gear and davit assist on larger sizes.
Typical Applications:
Pipeline pig launching and receiving, bidirectional launcher and receiver service, sweet or sour petroleum, chemical and processing plants, salt water and produced water, and single or double block and bleed isolation.

PERFORMANCE ADVANTAGES
Why the TPV Shut-Off Pig Valve Performs Where It Counts
PIGGING WITHOUT A LAUNCHER AND TRAP
The valve launches and receives pigs directly, eliminating the barrel, trap, and associated valves and controls of a traditional system. That cuts footprint, equipment, and manpower, with estimated savings of 25 to 60 percent.
ONE VALVE, THREE PIGGING CONFIGURATIONS
The baffle plate position and flow direction set the valve up as a launcher, receiver, or bidirectional launcher, so a single valve covers the operation the line needs. Reversing flow simply flips the configuration.
POSITIVE ISOLATION WITH DOUBLE
BLOCK AND BLEED
The fire-safe trunnion design provides positive isolation of media flow and can be used as single or double block and bleed. That supports safe pig loading and unloading with verifiable isolation.
BUILT FOR LONG SERVICE AND EASY OPERATION
The forged body trim resist corrosion and abrasion, while the Inconel wave springs, self-lubricating stem bearing, and davit-assisted entry cap keep torque low and operation safe. Field-repairable and predrilled equalization ports extend service life and ease maintenance.
