3″ HAMMER UNION STYLE BPR
Superior Products
The Superior Products 3″ Hammer Union Style BPR is a patented, high-capacity back pressure regulator that speeds makeup and teardown in the field. The hammer union connection lets crews break and remake the valve quickly, and the design has been approved and specified by pumpers and producers across the oilpatch.
The patented design adds faster in-field repair, pressure settings held during repair, and a built-in safety factor. An HNBR loaded seal is standard, and the 3″ body carries higher flow volumes than the 2″ regulators for larger production lines.
Rated at 5000# working pressure with a 3″ NPT connection, the regulator covers spring ranges from 5-200 through 10-1500 PSI. Stainless, carbide, sand, and silicon nitride trims and carbon, stainless, TBG-plated, heat-treated, or Extreme cage and seat plug options suit standard through abrasive service. Made in the USA.
Typical Applications:
High-pressure, high-volume flowback, frac and completion operations, temporary and rig-up backpressure control, separator and gathering service, and vapor recovery and tank battery service.

PERFORMANCE ADVANTAGES
Why the Superior Products 3″ Hammer Union Style BPR
Performs Where It Counts
FAST MAKEUP AND TEARDOWN AT HIGH VOLUME
The hammer union connection lets crews break and remake the valve quickly without unbolting a flange, cutting rig-up and service time on larger lines. That speed is why the design is specified across the oilpatch for high-volume flowback work.
REPAIR WITHOUT LOSING THE SETTING
The patented design allows faster in-field, inline repair while maintaining the pressure setting through the repair. Crews get back in service quickly without re-dialing the regulator.
HIGH CAPACITY AT HIGH PRESSURE
The 3″ body carries higher flow volumes than the 2″ regulators at 5000# working pressure, combining capacity and pressure rating in one valve. That suits high-rate frac and completion flowback.
BUILT-IN SAFETY AND ABRASION RESISTANCE
A built-in safety factor and the standard HNBR loaded seal deliver dependable, leak-free operation, while Extreme cage and seat plug options extend service life in abrasive, washout-prone flow. One platform handles demanding, solids-laden service.
