PIG-REPORTER™ PIPELINE
PASSAGE INDICATOR
Stark Solutions
The Stark Pig-Reporter™ is an intrusive, omni-directional pipeline passage indicator that notifies the operator when a pig or cleaning tool has cleared or passed through a section of line. Its omni-directional trigger registers passage regardless of flow direction, and a reflective flag gives clear visibility in low-light conditions.
A machined upper magnet housing lets the cap rotate and lock so the flag can face any direction the installation needs, while a labyrinth system keeps debris and media from fouling the magnet. Stainless steel operating components stand up to harsh internal and external environments, and the unit resets manually after each pass.
Available on all pipe 2″ (DN50) and larger in pressure series 150 through 1500, the Pig-Reporter™ is designed to ASME B31.4, B31.8, and CSA Z662 Cat. II. NACE MR0175-compliant materials, an ASTM A333 Grade 6 adapter, and a -50°F to 400°F rating suit sour and cold-weather service, with flanged mounting and extensions available.
Typical Applications:
Pig passage confirmation at launchers and receivers, pipeline pigging and cleaning runs, gathering and transmission monitoring, and sour (NACE) and cold-weather service.

PERFORMANCE ADVANTAGES
Why the Stark Pig-Reporter Performs Where It Counts
REGISTERS PASSAGE IN ANY DIRECTION
The omni-directional trigger confirms a pig or tool has passed regardless of flow direction, so one indicator works on bidirectional and reverse-flow lines. That removes the guesswork of directional-only indicators.
FLAG YOU CAN SEE AND AIM
A reflective flag stays visible in low light, and the rotatable, lockable upper housing lets the flag face wherever the operator needs it. Confirmation is clear from a distance and in poor conditions.
PROTECTED MAGNET FOR RELIABLITY
A labyrinth system keeps debris and media away from the magnet, preventing the fouling that causes missed or false indications. The trigger stays dependable across repeated pigging runs.
BUILT FOR HARSH SERVICE
Stainless steel operating components and an ASTM A333 Grade 6 adapter withstand harsh internal and external environments down to -50°F. NACE-compliant materials extend it into sour service.
