FORGED STEEL VALVES – GATE,
GLOBE & CHECK
GWC USA
The GWC USA Forged Steel Gate, Globe & Check Valves are a family of compact, high-integrity valves manufactured to API 602 and ASME B16.34. Forged bodies give better material integrity than castings on small-bore lines, reducing the likelihood of internal defects and lowering NDE requirements. Gate valves handle isolation, globe valves handle throttling, and swing, piston, and ball check valves prevent backflow across the group.
Gate and globe valves use an outside screw and yoke with a rising stem and a solid wedge or disc, and each is available in bolted bonnet, welded bonnet, or pressure seal bonnet construction to match the service. Full and reduced port options set the flow capacity, and integral backseats provide an ultimate seal during packing service. Seat and wedge surfaces are hardened or stellite overlaid where the application calls for it.
Available in ASME Class 150 through 2500, the valves are offered in a broad forged material range including A105N, LF2, F11, F22, F5, F9, and F316 for carbon, alloy, and stainless service. Trim options cover 13CR, 316 stainless, and full or half stellite. Threaded, socket weld, butt weld, RF flanged, and RTJ end connections fit the line, with NACE MR-01-75 construction available for sour service.
Typical Applications:
Small-bore stop and isolation service, throttling and control, backflow prevention, steam, condensate, and instrument lines, high-pressure and sour (NACE) service, and refinery and process piping.

PERFORMANCE ADVANTAGES
Why the GWC Forged Steel Gate, Globe & Check Valves
Perform Where It Counts
FORGED INTEGRITY ON SMALL-BORE LINES
Forged bodies reduce the internal defects common to castings, giving higher material integrity and lowering NDE requirements on critical small-bore service. That means greater confidence in high-pressure and cyclic applications.
THREE BONNET OPTIONS FOR ANY SERVICE
Bolted, welded, and pressure seal bonnet constructions let one valve family match routine, leak-critical, and high-pressure high-temperature service. Selection is tailored to the line rather than compromised to one design.
FULL END-CONNECTION FLEXIBILITY
Threaded, socket weld, butt weld, RF flanged, and RTJ options let the valves drop into virtually any small-bore piping system. That simplifies fit-up on instrument, steam, and condensate lines without adapters.
MATERIALS AND TRIM FOR SEVERE SERVICE
A broad forged material range from carbon through alloy and stainless, with stellite-overlaid trim, matches the valve to high-pressure, high-temperature, and corrosive conditions. NACE-compliant construction extends the family into sour service.
