Inline Choke Valve | Production Flow Control
Forum Energy Technologies (FET)
The FET Inline Choke Valve is designed for precise control of gas and liquid flow rates in production and injection systems. Utilizing a straight-through flow path, it minimizes turbulence while effectively managing pressure drops in wellhead and pipeline applications.
A stellite wear sleeve absorbs cavitation and erosive forces, protecting the valve body and extending service life. The funnel-shaped sleeve design directs flow toward the center of the pipeline, reducing turbulence and localized wear.
Available in multiple materials and connection configurations, the inline choke provides a durable and flexible solution for both standard and severe service environments.

Wellhead flow control, injection systems, CO2 systems, water injection, and pipeline choke applications

PERFORMANCE ADVANTAGES
Why the Inline Choke Performs Where It Counts
EROSION & CAVITATION RESISTANCE
The stellite wear sleeve absorbs high-energy fluid impact and cavitation, preventing damage to the valve body. This significantly extends operational life in high-pressure drop applications.
FLOW WITH REDUCED TURBULENCE
The inline design and funnel-shaped sleeve guide flow through the center of the pipe, reducing turbulence and uneven wear. This results in more stable and predictable flow control.
FLEXIBILITY FOR MULTIPLE MEDIA TYPES
Available in multiple body materials including stainless and bronze, allowing compatibility with corrosive fluids and injection systems. Ensures proper material selection for each application.
RELIABLE PERFORMANCE
Designed specifically for water and CO2 injection as well as gas flow control, ensuring consistent operation across a wide range of production conditions.
