Figure 1502 | 15,000 PSI Turbulence Reducing Hammer Union

C&C Industries

The C&C Figure 1502 Hammer Union is engineered for extreme pressure applications up to 15,000 PSI where both sealing integrity and flow performance are critical. Designed to minimize fluid turbulence, it utilizes a BUNA-N replaceable lip-type seal that provides both pressure containment and protection of internal metal seating surfaces.

Constructed from high-strength alloy steel and available in threaded and butt-weld configurations, the Figure 1502 is built for severe service environments including manifolds, truck-mounted systems, and high-pressure flowlines. Its turbulence-reducing design helps extend component life in systems where erosion and vibration are constant concerns.

This union represents the highest level of performance in standard hammer union designs, built for applications where failure is not an option.

Typical Applications:
Frac systems, high-pressure manifolds, injection lines, mud systems, truck-mounted equipment, and extreme pressure oil & gas operations

PERFORMANCE ADVANTAGES

Why the FIG 1502 Performs Where It Counts

MAXIMUM PRESSURE CAPABILITY FOR
EXTREME SERVICE CONDITIONS

At 15,000 PSI, this union is designed for the highest-pressure systems in oilfield operations. It provides the structural strength required to handle extreme loads without deformation, making it suitable for frac, injection, and high-pressure manifold systems where lower-rated unions cannot survive.

TURBULENCE REDUCTION TO CONTROL
EROSION & EXTEND SERVICE LIFE

High-velocity flow creates turbulence that leads to erosion, vibration, and internal damage. The Figure 1502’s internal geometry reduces flow disruption, minimizing wear on both the union and downstream components.

REDUCED MAINTENANCE IN HIGH-COST OPERATING ENVIRONMENTS

By minimizing turbulence and protecting internal components, the union reduces the frequency of replacement and maintenance. In high-pressure systems where downtime is expensive, this directly improves uptime and lowers total cost of ownership.

PROTECTION OF METAL SEALING SURFACES
IN SEVERE FLOW CONDITIONS

The replaceable lip-type seal acts as both a pressure seal and a barrier, shielding metal seating surfaces from direct fluid impact. This prevents erosion-related sealing failure and extends the operational life of the union.
