P8900 | Liquid Level Indicator
BelGAS CP Control Products
The BelGAS CP P8900 Liquid Level Indicator is a head-pressure-based measurement device designed for continuous level indication in atmospheric vessels. Using diaphragm-actuated sensing, it converts liquid head pressure into a direct visual reading in feet and inches, eliminating the need for manual conversion.
As shown in the internal mechanism diagram and description on page 3, pressure applied to the diaphragm deflects a cantilever spring, which moves the pointer across a calibrated scale. This mechanical linkage provides accurate, real-time level indication with no external power required.
The P8900 can be configured with a single switch option to trigger alarms, solenoids, or other devices at user-defined high and low set points. Adjustable calibration knobs allow precise tuning of both zero and span, while the sealed housing protects internal components from process media and environmental exposure.
Typical Applications:
Atmospheric tanks, separators, storage vessels, and level monitoring systems

PERFORMANCE ADVANTAGES
Why the P7100 Performs Where It Counts
DIRECT LEVEL INDICATION
Provides continuous, real-time level readings without requiring pressure-to-level conversion, simplifying operation and reducing error.
INTEGRATED SWITCH CONTROL
Optional single switch allows automatic activation of alarms, pumps, or valves based on configurable high and low level set points.
FIELD-ADJUSTABLE CALIBRATION
Zero and span adjustments enable precise calibration without removing the unit or altering vessel conditions.
DURABLE, LOW-MAINTENANCE DESIGN
Sealed housing and Teflon-coated internal components reduce wear, eliminate lubrication needs, and extend service life in field conditions.
