P8400 | Electric Level Switch
BelGAS CP Control Products
The BelGAS CP P8400 Electric Level Switch is a float-actuated level switch designed to provide high-level alarm or shutdown signals in gas compressor scrubbers and other vessel applications. As liquid level rises, the internal float lifts and triggers a magnetic switch mechanism, completing an electrical circuit to activate alarms or control systems.
The magnetic coupling design isolates the process fluid from the electrical switch housing, eliminating leak paths and improving safety in pressurized systems. This allows the P8400 to deliver reliable switching performance without exposing electrical components to process media.
Available with multiple switch options, mounting configurations, and customizable arm lengths, the P8400 can be configured for a wide range of applications. Optional manual override capability allows operators to test or trigger the switch without changing liquid level conditions, providing added flexibility during operation and maintenance.
Typical Applications:
Gas compressor scrubbers, separator vessels, and liquid level monitoring systems
