P8000 | Mechanical Level
Control Assembly
BelGAS CP Control Products
The BelGAS CP P8000 Mechanical Level Control Assembly is a hammer union, weldneck, and trunnion system designed to actuate mechanical dump valves based on liquid level inside a vessel. Using a float and linkage mechanism, the P8000 provides reliable, fully mechanical control of liquid levels without the need for external power or pneumatic supply.
Installed directly onto separators or knockout vessels, the system uses a float and float arm to monitor liquid levels. As levels rise or fall, the float transfers motion through the trunnion assembly, activating a lever and linkage arm that triggers a connected mechanical dump valve.
Designed for durability in oil and gas environments, the P8000 operates at pressures up to 500 PSIG and is available with multiple linkage arm lengths, weldneck configurations, and sealing materials to match application requirements. Its simple mechanical design ensures consistent operation with minimal maintenance in remote or harsh field conditions.
Typical Applications:
Separators and knockout vessels requiring mechanical liquid level control

PERFORMANCE ADVANTAGES
Why the P7100 Performs Where It Counts
FULLY MECHANICAL OPERATION
The P8000 operates using a float and linkage system, eliminating the need for external power, pneumatic supply, or control systems, making it ideal for remote and unattended installations.
RELIABLE LEVEL RESPONSE
Direct mechanical linkage between the float and dump valve ensures immediate response to changing liquid levels, maintaining consistent vessel operation and preventing overfill conditions.
FLEXIBLE CONFIGURATION OPTIONS
Multiple linkage arm lengths, weldneck sizes, and seal materials allow the assembly to be configured for specific vessel sizes, fluid types, and operating environments.
DURABLE FIELD PERFORMANCE
Built with carbon steel and stainless steel components, the P8000 is designed to withstand harsh oil and gas conditions while maintaining long-term reliability with minimal maintenance.
