P5300 / P5301 | Back Pressure Regulator
BelGAS CP
The BelGAS CP P5300 and P5301 Back Pressure Regulators are pilot-operated regulators designed to maintain constant upstream pressure in gas and air systems. Built with an integrally mounted pilot, these regulators use upstream gas to control valve operation, delivering stable and repeatable pressure control in demanding oil and gas applications.
The P5300 operates as a venting regulator, releasing excess pressure to atmosphere when upstream pressure exceeds the set point. The P5301 provides the same back pressure control in a non-vent configuration, routing excess pressure downstream instead of venting, making it ideal for closed systems or emissions-sensitive environments.
Both models are available in 2 inch and 3 inch sizes with FNPT or Class 150 RF connections, and offer full or reduced port configurations. Designed to meet NACE MR0175 standards, these regulators provide reliable performance in separators, heater treaters, compressor stations, and gas gathering systems where consistent upstream pressure control is critical.

PERFORMANCE ADVANTAGES
Why the P5300 \ P5301 Performs Where It Counts
Precise Back Pressure Control
The P5300 and P5301 regulators maintain stable upstream pressure by modulating valve position through an integral pilot system. When pressure exceeds the set point, the pilot reacts immediately to relieve pressure, ensuring consistent system operation and protecting upstream equipment.
Venting and Non-Vent Flexibility
The P5300 vents excess gas to atmosphere, making it ideal for standard applications, while the P5301 routes gas downstream for closed-loop systems. This flexibility allows operators to meet environmental requirements and system design constraints without changing regulator platforms.
Built for Harsh Oil & Gas Environments
Constructed with ductile iron housings, stainless steel internals, and elastomer options including nitrile, fluorocarbon, HSN, and Aflas, the P5300/P5301 regulators are designed to withstand corrosive media, high temperatures, and demanding field conditions.
High Capacity with Reliable Shutoff
The pilot-operated design allows for high flow capacity while maintaining tight control. The soft seat construction achieves Class VI bubble-tight shutoff, minimizing leakage and improving overall system efficiency and safety.
