CVC Series (WCB) | Threaded Swing Check Valve
C&C Industries
The C&C CVC Series threaded swing check valve is designed for high-pressure oil and gas production systems where preventing reverse flow is critical to protecting upstream equipment and maintaining system integrity. Built with a carbon steel (WCB) body and stainless steel trim, the valve is engineered to handle demanding service conditions commonly found in production and pipeline environments.
The swing check mechanism provides a simple and reliable method of backflow prevention, automatically closing when flow reverses. The top-entry design allows for easy inspection and maintenance of internal components without removing the valve from the line, reducing downtime in field operations.
With pressure ratings up to 5000 PSI depending on size and NACE compliance as standard, the CVC Series is well suited for sour service, high-pressure applications, and systems where reliability under pressure is essential.
Typical Applications:
Oil & gas production flowlines, wellhead systems, separator systems, injection lines, compressor discharge lines, gas gathering systems, high-pressure manifolds, pipeline tie-ins, and production facilities

PERFORMANCE ADVANTAGES
Why the CVC Series Swing Check Performs Where It Counts
PREVENTS EQUIPMENT DAMAGE
FROM REVERSE FLOW
Reverse flow in production systems can cause severe damage to pumps, compressors, and separators. The swing check mechanism automatically closes under backflow conditions, protecting critical upstream equipment and maintaining system integrity.
HIGH-PRESSURE PERFORMANCE
IN PRODUCTION SYSTEMS
With pressure ratings up to 5000 PSI, the valve is designed for demanding oilfield environments where lower-rated check valves would fail or wear prematurely.
FIELD-SERVICEABLE DESIGN
REDUCES DOWNTIME
Top-entry construction allows maintenance and inspection without removing the valve from the pipeline, minimizing downtime and reducing labor in field conditions.
NACE COMPLIANCE FOR SOUR &
CORROSIVE SERVICE
Material selection meets NACE standards, allowing reliable operation in H2S and corrosive environments where material failure is a concern.
