Vented Arrestors
BelGAS FM Flame Management
BelGAS FM Vented Arrestors are designed for vertical venting applications where both free venting and flame protection are required. These devices prevent flame propagation from the exposed side to the protected side while allowing gases to safely vent to atmosphere.
Using corrugated metal flame cells, the arrestor absorbs and dissipates heat from a flame front as it attempts to pass through the element. This proven design stops combustion while maintaining airflow, ensuring safe operation of vapor systems.
Available in multiple sizes, materials, and configurations, vented arrestors provide reliable protection in tank venting and atmospheric discharge systems.
Typical Applications:
Tank venting, heater treaters, dehydrators, amine units, gas production units, and line heaters

PERFORMANCE ADVANTAGES
Why the Vented Arrestor Performs Where It Counts
SAFE ATMOSPHERIC VENTING WITH
FLAME PROTECTION
Allows gases to vent freely while preventing ignition from traveling back into the system, protecting tanks and upstream equipment.
PROVEN HEAT DISSIPATION TECHNOLOGY
Corrugated flame cells absorb and dissipate heat efficiently, stopping flame propagation without restricting normal system operation.
LOW MAINTENANCE AND HIGH RELIABILITY
With no moving parts, the design minimizes maintenance needs and ensures consistent long-term performance.
CONFIGURABLE FOR MULTIPLE
SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS
Available in a wide range of materials, sizes, and connections to match specific venting applications.
