Gravity Ball Check | Injection Backflow Prevention Valve
Forum Energy Technologies (FET)
The FET Gravity Ball Check Valve is designed for injection systems to prevent backflow from the tubing when pressure conditions reverse. It ensures that injected fluids do not return into the injection line, protecting upstream equipment and maintaining system integrity.
A Delrin cage isolates the ball from the valve body, reducing wear and extending service life. The design allows both the ball and cage to be replaced while the valve remains inline, minimizing maintenance downtime.
Available in multiple materials and configurations, the Gravity Ball Check is built for reliable operation in high-pressure injection environments.
Typical Applications:
Waterflood injection, CO₂ injection, wellhead systems, backflow prevention

PERFORMANCE ADVANTAGES
Why the FET Gravity Ball Check Performs Where It Counts
RELIABLE BACKFLOW PREVENTION
IN INJECTION SYSTEMS
Automatically stops reverse flow when tubing pressure exceeds injection pressure, protecting upstream equipment and maintaining system integrity.
EXTENDED SERVICE LIFE THROUGH
ISOLATED COMPONENT DESIGN
Delrin cage prevents direct contact between the ball and valve body, reducing wear and improving longevity.
INLINE SERVICEABILITY FOR
REDUCED DOWNTIME
Ball and cage can be replaced without removing the valve from the system, minimizing maintenance disruption.
CONFIGURABLE FOR CORROSIVE &
HIGH-PRESSURE APPLICATIONS
Material and trim options allow the valve to be tailored for aggressive media and high-pressure injection environments.
