Y Strainer | Injection System Debris Filter
Forum Energy Technologies (FET)
The FET Y Strainer is engineered to protect injection systems from debris that can damage flow meters, choke valves, and downstream instrumentation. Installed upstream of critical components, it captures solids within a high-strength stainless steel screen while maintaining continuous flow through the system.
Designed for high-pressure waterflood and CO₂ injection service, the strainer features a blow-down port for rapid debris removal without disassembly. An O-ring sealed cap ensures threads remain non-wetted, preventing corrosion and simplifying maintenance in harsh environments.
Built for durability and serviceability, the Y Strainer reduces equipment wear, minimizes downtime, and improves overall system reliability in injection operations.
Typical Applications:
Waterflood injection, upstream filtration, flow meter protection, production systems
