The BelGAS CP P8600 is a snap-acting pneumatic liquid level switch designed for reliable level control in gas compressor scrubbers and similar applications. It uses a float-actuated mechanism to generate a pneumatic signal that opens or closes dump valves and downstream equipment based on liquid level conditions.
The float movement drives a cam and actuator assembly that modulates internal back pressure. This pressure change shifts a diaphragm and spool, switching the output signal between vented (0 PSI) and full supply pressure, delivering a clean and repeatable on/off control signal.
The P8600 is engineered for rugged field use with a simple mechanical design, making it easy to maintain, reliable in harsh environments, and ideal for protecting compressors by automatically removing accumulated liquids.
