The BelGAS CP P8500 Liquid Level Controller is a pneumatically operated controller designed for precise liquid level and interface control in vessels such as separators, scrubbers, and tanks. It uses a displacer-based sensing system to convert changes in liquid level into a pneumatic output signal that can actuate control valves or downstream devices.
The controller operates through a cantilever displacement system where buoyant force on the displacer causes movement in a sensing rod and elastomer seat. This movement directly modulates output pressure, allowing the unit to maintain consistent liquid levels or trigger control actions based on process conditions.
The P8500 is available in both throttling and snap-acting configurations. Throttling models provide continuous output modulation for precise level control, while snap-acting models deliver a binary signal at a defined set point for on/off control applications.
