The BelGAS CP P5500 Control Valve is a direct-acting, diaphragm-balanced valve designed to maintain stable back pressure in gas and air systems. Rated to hold up to 100 PSIG back pressure, the P5500 delivers consistent, controlled performance in applications where pressure stability and responsiveness are critical.
The diaphragm-balanced design minimizes the effect of upstream pressure fluctuations, allowing for more precise control compared to standard direct-acting valves. This results in smoother operation and improved reliability across varying flow conditions.
When paired with an external pilot, the P5500 can be configured for snap or throttling service, requiring minimal signal pressure to actuate. Available in 2 inch NPT and Class 150 RF configurations, the valve is built with ductile iron construction, stainless steel internals, and multiple elastomer options to handle demanding oil and gas service environments.
